This year Fotokino invites the artist Isidro Ferrer to set the tone of this 6th edition of Lanterna Magica (Marseille, France). Through his posters, his illustrations or his animations, this inventor of shape invites every time to revisit the objects of the everyday life objects and the popular imaging, to aim at universal images. In homage to the surrealists Isidro Ferrer demonstrate that with a little of curiosity it is possible fairte to tip over a laboratory of images in a visual theater. During two days, the workshop invites the participants to discover the poetic universe of objects by revealing their sentimental value. By a subtle game of transformation, these last ones release gradually their semantic, metaphoric or communicative characters to introduce a new symbolic space. Invited by honor, Isidor Ferrer will sign the poster of the appearance as well as the images of the publishing published for the occasion. A monographic exhibition will be dedicated to him in the gallery Montgrand.
